Reshaped: Day 6- Moses
Praise & Thanksgiving
Reading Exodus 15
A miracle of inexpressible proportion! Nothing logical could have explained the event Moses and the Israelites experienced! It was undeniably spectacular! Can you imagine the astonished relief of God’s people?
Moses opened his mouth, and glorious praises spilled forth. His heart overflowed with unstoppable waves of gratitude. The once doubt-filled man watched as the Red Sea heard the command of the Creator and swallowed an army at His word. The righteous right hand of God moved and delivered the final blow of Egyptian judgment. What an incredible day on the earth!
As the Israelites continued their journey to a new land under new leadership, they carried less weight in their hearts. They rejoiced that the pounding hooves that once pursued them no longer thundered the ground. The crack of a whip would no longer lash their backs. No more would they toil from morning till night under the blazing desert sun. For God had released them from the terrible captivity they lived under for so long.
The Israelites cried out, and God came to their rescue. But let’s not overlook a lesser miracle. God used a fearful man with much self-doubt to accomplish the miraculous.
Since God is no respecter of persons, He can use you also.
